Comentário: É pessoal, o Kataklysm finalmente lançou seu mais novo álbum, Heaven's Venom, que vem mostrando o grande poder de fogo de uma banda de Death Metal de excelente qualidade que eu considero entre as 5 melhores no gênero. Com algumas músicas como "Determined (Vows Of Vengeance)" começam mais lentas e pesadas que progressivamente se tornam rápidas e outras como "Numb And Intoxicated"que já chegam solando os timpanos com bases rápidas e agressivas e a clássica bateria que marca as músicas do estilo. Ou seja, Kataklysm mostrou mais uma vez como se faz Death Metal com um bom álbum, que não chega a superar Shadows And Dust, mas que eu recomendo para quem gosta da banda.

Kataklysm - 2009 - Taking The World By Storm (Single)

A banda canadense Kataklysm formou-se oficialmente no Outono de 1991, eles lançaram uma Demo (hoje clássica) chamada "Death Gate Cycle of Reincarnation" em 1992 que chamou atenção mundial e lhes rendeu uma proposta de contrato com a gravadora alemã Nuclear Blast, a banda assinou o contrato em 1993 e imediatamente relançou a demo em formato de CD e adicionou a faixa bônus "The Orb of Uncreation" que resultou na criação do MCD criticamente aclamado "The Mystical Gate of Reincarnation". Kataklysm ganhou elogio mundial e reconhecimento... um novo estilo e influência nasceu: o "Northern Hyperblast" e isso era só o começo! Em 1995 a banda lança o primeiro álbum intitulado "Sorcery" que rapidamente transformou o Kataklysm como nova força na cena do metal extremo!

A banda segue com outro trabalho agressivo em 1996 com o lançamento do segundo de álbum de estúdio "Temple of Knowledge", que acompanhado com o videoclipe "The Awakener", resultou em turnês como "headliners" e um futuro promissor pela frente. Com "Northern Hyperblast Live" um CD ao vivo em edição limitada, a banda lança, em 1998 o seu 3º álbum, intitulado "Victims of This Fallen World". A banda mostrou diversidade e explorou um novo território, no qual buscou novos caminhos para estabelecer um novo estilo em seu som que logo que iria transformar os novos álbuns em clássicos!

Em 2000 Kataklysm retorna com o 4º álbum intitulado "The Prophecy (Stigmata of the Immaculate)", um álbum que pôs a banda em um curso e horizontes novos, que os críticos chamaram de o lançamento mais devastador da música extrema em anos. Em 2001 um álbum extremo clássico foi intitulado "Epic: The Poetry of War", com uma extremidade melódica apoiada por poder rugido extremo. As faixas do 5º álbum se tornaram "a melhor hora" de Kataklysm, aclamado pelos críticos.

Em 2008 lançaram um álbum chamado "Prevail". E para 2009 foi lançado um single intitulado "Taking The World By Storm".
